Beartown Zodiac are a cult/band based around a wide coastal area. A quintet led by David Bird-Hawkins, members vary in size between angry giantess Alison Jay and wee Matt.

Due to the difficulty in getting all five of them into the same place at once, they actually receive royalties from any local social distancing measures due to trademarking it several years ago.

'Pioneers’, released in August 2021, is a six song maxi EP, or a demi-album about ideas of The Future, written in the past when there still was one.

Topics include the spread of worrying news, Videophones, Boring Monochrome and holding your loved ones during terrifying times, which is pretty damn prescient considering Beartown Zodiac finished recording it last decade.

The EP Imagines a band recording songs in 1950s to be included in a time capsule, only to be opened in the 21st century. Did they make the correct predictions?

Beartown Zodiac are an Indie-Pop outfit based in Bournemouth, England.
May 2013 saw the release of their debut EP Karaoke Bites produced by The Sunday's Patch Hannan. The four track EP was released on indie label Woodenhouse and received positive reviews by the music press.
The debut album, Star Map Home was released March 2015 on The Burrow label.
